SUMMER READING PROGRAM - 2011
The annual Summer Reading Program was a great success!!!!
It started on June 2 and concluded on August 4 with the awards ceremony. This year's SRP theme was "DIG-UP-A-GOOD-BOOK".
Attendance started slow, but gained momentum with a peak attendance of over 100 children.
Special performers for this year were: "The Creature Teacher", a storyteller, a magician, a musician on drums & percussion, the "Happy Dragon Reptile Show" and "Xtreme Kidz Entertainment".
Certificates and special prizes were given out on August 4.
Everyone really seemed to enjoy and appreciate all events.
Parents were very supported and wanted more.
Plans are underway for a better program in 2012.
Make your plans to join us.
